Socorro and Surroundings - some photos

There is an old opera house in Socorro.The brochure says no opera was ever performed in it.

This is what the sign says.

Kid's photos

I always wondered why women would wear yoga outfits while shopping or generally away from yoga classes but now I know. As illustrated below: sometimes it is hard to tell where life will take you and you can find yourself in a spontaneous yoga pose.
Charlotte demonstrates the case in the photo below. One second you are walking around having a perfectly normal day. Then Kaboom, next second your body is taken over by a previous reincarnation when you were a master yogi.

Isn't she cute !?!?  And not to brag or anything (OK, I'm bragging) but she let's me hold her.

Her brother with another fruit. Contrary to what the photo seems to suggest he is her BIG brother... it is not that he is small it is just the pineapple is very big!

In fact he is so big that he was a scary warlord as Halloween this year.

Nicole's First Birthday

Time flies, Nicole is one already. She is growing up but she is as cute as ever.

... thank goodness her birthday cake was pink ..... which is a lovely colour on her!

Now that's happiness

Look at Charlotte (S. and B.' daughter). Doesn't she look like she is having fun?!

When exactly is it that we loose the ability to feel that way?
It warms your heart to see her laughing and be happy. She is a really cutie. She has a great smile (with two upper teeth now and she is already working on the fifth lower tooth) but her laughter is even better than her smile, and that's not easy to do because she has a cute little smile.

Meet Nicole

Here is Nicole, A and T's daughter.

She is totally easy going and very happy.
You know what is great about happy babies, they laugh at the smallest things.  She even finds me funny .... and not many people find me funny!
She loves when people sing to her. She loves "Old MacDonald" and she particularly likes the sound of the lion (I take liberties with Old MacDonald. Either this or he has a really unusual farm).
