China, Xi'an - Part 2

More photos.

This time the old city wall. We (me and Echo, a young woman who works in the same office than my friend A. who works in China) rented a two-person bicycle and rode the entire length of the wall, something like 13 kilometers if I remember right).

Echo as a typical Chinese girl pauses for photos.

While riding on the wall we saw a bride getting her picture taken by an old temple. You have to say that there is something to be said for a bride in red. It looks stunning.

And we stopped on the wall above a small area which had small "cafes" tucked against the wall. We could hear tradition opera. It was fabulous. Echo, the young woman, told me that it was a type of opera which was typical of this area. This is all we could see from the wall.
